TCAP2026

A big day for the Ottawa Tribe of Oklahoma!

The 2026 Tar Creek Apprenticeship Program (TCAP) officially launched on the morning of June 1, 2026, bringing together Chief Cody Hollenbeck, the Ottawa Environmental Department staff, and this year’s outstanding group of Ottawa apprentices — Annabel Werner, Deringer Hollenbeck, Remington Sala, Aiden Coulter, and Hallie Todd.

From the blessing ceremony to Wyandotte Nation Second Chief Norman Hildebrand’s keynote to the first shared meal, the day set a powerful tone for learning, cultural grounding, and meaningful hands-on restoration work at Tar Creek.

Our Ottawa apprentices are stepping into this program with purpose, and we’re honored to support their journey.
