2026-27 Ottawa Tribal School Assistance Program

The Ottawa Tribe School Assistance Program is pleased to offer all tribally enrolled Ottawa children funding for school clothes and school supplies.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Child must be K-12th grade for current 2026-2027 school year

• Must be Ottawa Tribe enrolled

  Application requirements:

• Custodial parents must complete the attached application and get approval back before purchases.

• Parent must have copies of required documents:

  a. tribal enrollment card

  b. enrollment verification from school (i.e. public, private, or homeschool) for EACH child eligible for funding.

  ( NOTE: DO NOT MAKE PURCHASES BEFORE GETTING THE APPLICATION APPROVED)

  ‍ ‍REIMBURSEMENT GUIDELINES:

• Reimbursement is available up to $300 per child.

• All receipts MUST BE received by SEPTEMBER 30th, 2026

• Receipts should include ONLY school clothing and school supplies.

  (Including other items will delay reimbursement) ‍‍ ‍

NO items on the receipt except school clothes/school supplies (this does NOT include school fees, food, drinks, cleaning, or household items, etc.)

You may elect to purchase items and be reimbursed UP TO $300 per child but note that reimbursement will NOT be made without first submitting the ORIGINAL receipt to the tribal Social Services dept.

If you are unable to pre-purchase items yourself due to financial constraints PLEASE contact the Admin. office at 918-540-1536 and we will get you in contact with the Tribes Social Services department.
