A Nomination Meeting for the 2026 Regular Election for the Ottawa Tribe of Oklahoma will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026 at noon.  The Nomination Meeting will be held at the Longhouse, 11400 S 613 Rd, Miami, OK 74354.

The sole purpose of this meeting will be to take nominations for the term ending positions of Chief, Grievance Committee Member #4, and Grievance Committee Member #5.   In addition, nominations will also be taken to fulfill the remainder of the term for the recently vacated positions of Secretary/Treasurer and Grievance Committee Member #1. 

All nominations are in person only, and subject to background checks prior to appearing on the ballot.  Tribal members must bring their tribal ID’s and photo identification with them to count towards a quorum for the meeting.
